Striking a Balance

The Exchange is located within the award-winning Asia Square, in a modern 5,000 sq. foot brasserie.  Elaborately molded ceilings, Chesterfield sofas, and marble clad surfaces provide elements of old-world character while the stainless-steel framed windows of the kitchen brigade echo the mid-century facades in Soho, New York. 

Complimented by a modern, Australasian-inspired menu, this Tadcaster Hospitality concept is the perfect venue for any occasion - from grabbing a takeaway coffee from our coffee hatch or catching your favourite sports, to after-work drinks, power lunches and languorous dinner parties.

Festive Set Lunch

Available Mon-Fri from 12pm-2pm.

Our 2 or 3 course holiday set lunch includes sumptuous choices like 12 hr Slow Cooked Australian Lamb Leg, Rolled Pork Belly with Mashed Potato & Greens, or Pistachio Ham Hock Terrine with Mustard Dressing. Top the meal off with an Eggnog Cranberry Cheese Tart.

ADRIAN HOUGHTON

DIRECTOR, TADCASTER HOSPITALITY

Originally from Liverpool, England, Adrian has been in Asia for more than 20 years. With experience ranging from owning bars to working his magic as a flair bartender, he certainly knows his way around the hospitality scene. 

He joined Tadcaster Hospitality in 2012 as the General Manager of The Exchange and was promoted to Operations Director of Tadcaster Hospitality in 2013, and Director in 2017.

Kacey Whaitiri-Roberts

Group Executive Chef, Tadcaster Hospitality

Hailing from Hawkes Bay, New Zealand,  Kacey has worked at renown restaurants including Boulcott Street Bistro in Wellington, San Marco Restaurant in Singapore, and Gordon Ramsay at Claridge’s in London.

 He joined Tadcaster Hospitality in 2011 as the group executive chef and oversees the menus for all Tadcaster Hospitality outlets as well as kitchen development for new restaurants and projects.

AMELIA MATHESON

General manager, THE EXCHANGE

 Amelia began her time with Tadcaster back in 2011 within two of Tadcaster Australia venues, and she eventually joined the management team in Singapore in 2014. Amelia specialises in event organising, guest services and venue operation. Leading the management team from 2018, she and her team are constantly on the pulse for creating new and exciting ideas for The Exchange.

Mei Chang | The Exchange

Mei Cheng

Assistant General Manager

Born and raised in Malaysia, Mei Cheng took the leap at the age of 20 to move to Singapore, to join the Food and beverage scene. Mei Cheng decided the F&B industry was perfect for her, as she appreciates the corporate service style. Joining The Exchange back in 2013, Mei Cheng has progressed across multiple areas of the venue, now to keep the quality of product and service to its finest levels.

Shah Rizal

Assistant Manager

Shah Joined the F&B industry in his late teens, to enjoy the social side of a workplace. Shah grew to appreciate all aspects of the business, and learned the ins and outs of the industry from bar, to front of house, and back of house. Joining Tadcaster back in 2012, Shah has expanded his abilities and built up knowledge of the restaurant to create a vibrant and productive team at The Exchange.

Roy Ashari

Assistant Manager

Roy fell into the F&B industry in his early 20’s after finishing his National Service. As he saw it, food and beverage was an obvious opportunity to socialise and enjoy the night scene, whilst working. Roy joined The Exchange early 2018, to lead the bar team to new and bigger ideas. The aspects of his job that Roy enjoys the most is providing international qualities of service, and meeting new people everyday.

Joan Elaine Chiang

Chef DE CUISINE, The Exchange

Joan was born and raised in Malaysia and joined the Tadcaster Hospitality family as Junior Sous Chef at Cafe Melba back in 2012. Into 2014, she was offered the lead for Tadcaster's first venture in The Phillippines, The Social, and being half Filipina, was happy to spend some time in Cebu. 

After earning her accolades in Cebu, Joan moved back to Singapore in early 2015 to come aboard The Exchange's culinary team.

Rozie Pledger | The Exchange

Rozie Pledger

Guest Relations Manager

Rozie has been in the F&B industry for over 25 years in Singapore, and knows the ins and outs of the restaurant and entertainment business. Born and raised in Singapore, Rozie has exceptional knowledge of local and international cuisine. As the Guest Relations Manager of The Exchange, Rozie will provide each guest a detailed and dedicated experience. Rozie’s most enjoyable aspect of the industry is meeting new people every day  and ensuring they have an enjoyable time at The Exchange.
